We hunt down cheap travel so you don’t have to — flights, hacks, and the seasonal sweet spots that actually save money.
What Travel Hunter is about
Travel Hunter started from a simple frustration: great trips are usually one good deal or one smart timing decision away, but that information is scattered across a hundred tabs. So we built one place to bring it together. We track down cheap flights and stays, test the money-saving hacks that get repeated online (and call out the ones that don’t work), and map out which destination gives you the most for your money in each season.
The goal is practical, not aspirational. You won’t find fluffy “wanderlust” posts here. You’ll find the specific stuff that changes what a trip costs: when to book, where to go in the shoulder season, how to stack rewards, and which corners are worth cutting and which absolutely aren’t.
What you’ll find here
- Cheap flight finds — fare drops, mistake fares, and the routing tricks that quietly lower the price.
- Travel hacks & tips — packing, points, booking timing, and the small moves that add up to real savings.
- Best destination per season — where to go in spring, summer, autumn, and winter to beat crowds and prices.
- Budget guides — honest, numbers-first breakdowns of what a destination actually costs.
How we work
Every tip we publish is something we’d use ourselves. When we recommend a booking site, card, or tool, we tell you plainly whether there’s an affiliate link involved — see our Disclaimer for how that works. Prices and deals move fast, so we date our finds and update guides when things change. If we get something wrong, we fix it.
Who’s behind it
Travel Hunter is run by a small team of budget-travel obsessives who’ve spent years chasing cheap fares and off-season trips. We come from a digital and marketing background, which is partly why we care so much about getting the details, the timing, and the numbers right.
